AIRTAG, the principal provider of Mobile Shopping Solutions, declares today that the AIRSHOP advanced ordering and payment solution has been incorporated with Magento; the eBay owned open source eCommerce platform used by more than 150,000 retailers.
This integration allows retailers who are currently using Magento for their eCommerce sites for easy transition to mobile commerce and offer consumers a multi-channel experience that includes web, mobile, and tablet applications. Forrester Research forecasts that by 2017, half of all mobile internet users will be mobile retail buyers, meaning that retailers must begin to develop a mobilized and multi-channel strategy.
AIRSHOP offers native app available on iOS Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry with a feature rich platform to the retailers using Magento including:
A full retailer wallet for advanced ordering and payments with both in-store and delivery pick-up options and multiple payment scheme support, including PayPal, 1 Click, and Credit Card
Integrated targeted marketing features such as mobile loyalty, geolocated couponing, geofencing, push notifications, location based marketing and product recommendations
Cloud based reporting to track consumer data and to further digital strategy development
“Magento, is the most widely used e-commerce platform,” said Jérémie Leroyer CEO & Co-founder of AIRTAG. “For all retailers starting to think about how they are going to go mobile, we have created a solution that significantly eases the transition to digital commerce, without sacrificing the user experience.”
AIRSHOP considerably improves the ordering experience, as demonstrated in French markets through its success with fast food and grocery retailers like the G2O grocery store chain. The “G2O Minute” app saw great achievement, giving shoppers an interactive mobile shopping experience in-store while accelerating ordering, payment and checkout time.
AIRSHOP plans to make ordering on any connected device easier and ever, and is rapidly becoming a key player in the mobile wallet eco-system, having already seen acceptance by retailers including: McDonald’s, KFC, Carrefour City, McCafe and G2O.
